Say hello to my toy CAPTCHA, GottaCaptchaThemAll. Styled around the iconic “Who’s that pokemon?” scene. I feel like it was mean’t to be. Complete with sound effects, so headphone users be prepared.

What?

Let’s set the scene. Some website has the audacity to suspect you’re a robot while you bid on retro game consoles. Your click is sent down the wire and after being nearly deafened you’re presented with a prime cut of childhood nostalgia. Guess that pokemon! Get it wrong three times and you’ve proven not only that you’re a robot but also that you’re not a pokemon fan. I’m not sure which is worse.

I’ve only added the first 151, generation 1, because I can’t remember many of the others, let alone spell their names correctly. Speaking of which, it’s more likely to stop most people from submitting forms than robots. Don’t take it too seriously.

I’m sure there’s a really good reason we’re not allowed to have fun while showcasing our humanity. But I think we’re all fed up with clicking bicycles.
